🎧 AI DJ for gamers: Spotify launches gaming mode with adaptive soundtrack
Spotify has announced an experimental mode “GameSound+”, which will automatically select music to match the genre and tempo of your game. The new feature is already available for testing on Steam via an overlay.
The function uses AI to analyze the gameplay in real time - in shooters it amplifies the beat, in horror games it adds a tense atmosphere, and in racing games it includes dynamic tracks. Gamers are delighted: “Now the music feels the game better than I do.”
Spotify said that it is collaborating with major developers to implement the technology directly into games - starting with Cyberpunk 2077, Apex Legends and Rocket League.
🧠 Tetris is officially recognized as cognitive training — scientists are shocked
A team of neuropsychologists from Japan published a study in which the classic game Tetris was named one of the most effective tools for brain development. Experiments showed that regular play for 20 minutes a day improves spatial thinking and reduces stress.
The study was so convincing that several schools in Tokyo have already introduced Tetris as an element of logic and mathematics lessons. Moreover, the Japanese Ministry of Health considers the game as a preventive method for combating dementia.
Players note that now they can officially tell their parents: “I’m training my brain, and not just getting stuck.”

The Swedish furniture giant has introduced a new line of modular gaming furniture UPPGRAD, the elements of which can be changed and updated, like a video card or keyboard. For example, you can replace the armrests with RGB versions or install a cooling drink holder.
The innovative series was created in collaboration with professional eSports players and has already caused a storm of interest on social networks. Users share memes with captions like “finally upgraded the chair to version 2.0”.
IKEA promises that every year it will release “modules” that fit the entire series. Who would have thought that a chair, like a PC, can now be “overclocked”.
